Luoyang Intelligent Manufacturing" Goes Global: 60,000 Tons of Non-Standard Steel Components Shipped to Saudi Arabia

BEIJING/LUOYANG, Mar. 24 (Xinhua Correspondent) — A batch of non-standard steel components bound for Saudi Arabia has officially entered the loading and delivery process at the production base of Luoyang Honglu Steel Structure Co., Ltd. in Ruyang County, Luoyang City. With a simple click of the mouse by technicians in the central control room, the intelligent production scheduling system flashed "Delivery Confirmed", marking the smooth shipment of another landmark order of "Luoyang Intelligent Manufacturing".

This large-scale overseas order involves a total of 60,000 tons of non-standard steel components, equivalent to the steel consumption of 1.4 Beijing National Stadiums (Bird's Nest), the iconic venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, which has a total steel structure weight of approximately 42,000 tons.

According to the project schedule, Luoyang Honglu Steel Structure secured the 60,000-ton Saudi order in late December 2025. The first batch of 18,000 tons was completed and delivered in late January the following year, and shipped to Saudi Arabia via Shandong ports. Currently, the second batch of 11,000 tons has been fully delivered; the third batch is scheduled for delivery by the end of March, and the entire 60,000-ton order will be fully completed and shipped by April 25.

The production base has adopted an intelligent scheduling and digital management system, realizing efficient collaboration throughout the entire process from order arrangement, processing and manufacturing to logistics and transportation, demonstrating the robust strength of Luoyang's high-end equipment manufacturing and green steel structure industries.

"Relying on the Belt and Road Initiative, our products have gained wide recognition in overseas markets such as the Middle East and Central Asia," said Chen Jiu, the person in charge of the enterprise. In recent years, more than 200,000 tons of steel components made in Luoyang have been exported worldwide, forging a tough business card for "Luoyang Intelligent Manufacturing" in the international arena with reliable quality and on-time delivery capacity.
